The new Deity V-Mic D4 DUO two cardioid mics in one body. The microphone picks up sound from the back and front of the microphone so you can get sound from the photographer behind the camera as well as the person you're photographing. This is great for interviewing when you are taking control of the camera.

The 3.5 mm AUX input passes audio from the rear capsule and sends it to the right camera channel. The V-Mic D4 DUO does not require a battery because it is powered by the 3V that the camera's microphone jack provides. Additionally, the 3V Plug-In Power is passed through the D4 DUO's 3.5mm input jack, enabling you to use an additional microphone from TRS lavalier bra mics.

Deity Microphones and Rycote teamed up to create a custom-made thermoplastic polyester shock mount for the V-Mic D4 DUO that is rigid enough to support weight and keep the microphone in balance. But it also prevents the noise from the camera from being transmitted to the microphone.
