The Laowa 24mm T14 2x Peri probe Lens is a new wide-angle macro lens with a long barrel, which now features a 90° 'periscope' head.

The new lens comes with straight front and periscope elements that can be changed easily. The new Laowa Periprobe lens inherits all the features from the original probe lens with the addition of a 90-degree "periscope" tip for additional creative angles. In fact, the new lens comes in a small case that includes the Laowa Probe straight lens tip and the new 90° Laowa Periprobe tip. Both ends of the lens are waterproof and can be exchanged at any time.

Just like the original Laowa Probe lens, the new Periprobe lens features a 24mm focal length with 85° FOV, 2x macro magnification, a so-called "error eye view", and LED lights around the front element. The lens still has the same manual aperture available between the T14 and T40, so you need a lot of light to produce well-lit sections.

There are certain types of shots that were previously very difficult (or required special equipment and a very large area) with a straight probe lens, such as "side shot", "tilt", "stay close to the ground" or "look up and down". With a Periprobe lens, these types of shots should now require much less space and should be easier to perform.

The Periprobe lens can also rotate 360 ​​degrees along its axis (after opening the guide ring using the clutch mechanism). Thanks to this, users can include interesting “pan” movements in clips. The Periprobe lens tip features a single thread 1/4-20 for mounting additional lights, accessories, brackets, or brackets.
